Farmer's markets can be a great activity to do with your family. Local farmer's always bring out their choice products, and there are other types of fun that your little ones can get into. There are so many farmer's markets in and around the Inland Empire. If you like organic foods this is the place to go, several farmers use no pesticides, and you can talk to them about their growing methods.

Free Admission Honoring Veterans and Active Military at Knotts!

Knotts is honoring all retired and active military this Sunday May 29, though Monday May 30 by offering free admission to the park. Immediate family members can get in for a discounted rate, in the past it has been 15 dollars, but check with Knotts to see what the price would be. You can get up to six discounted tickets for each military member entering the park for free. Military members must show valid ID, Veterans must show Veteran ID card. More information:

Bowling alleys, and fun for the little ones and big ones.

     Not only moms, but entire families! I rediscovered bowling because of my husband. You don't have to go broke taking your group bowling. One of the places that I really like is Del Rosa Lanes in San Bernardino. They have amazing specials, and not only on bowling, on food too. They have dollar days where you can bowl for a dollar and get certain food items like pizza for only a dollar too. Del Rosa has a whole bunch of good deals for the savvy family.      I also really enjoy going to Brunswick Foothill Lanes in Fontana. They have specials also, and if you join one of their bowling leagues, you can have a lot of fun with the family. I would go there on a Sunday in the morning because it is not as crowded. Call ahead and plan. They are very nice and friendly here! For the parents, they have drink specials, the bartender is awesome and she makes the best shots!
